For individuals who are self-directed, who are highly employable and who require minimal services to gain employment, Global Training Inc. will provide short-term assistance through:

• Access to computers, Internet, Email, phones, faxes, job boards and job search resources
• Referrals for resume development (rural locations)
• Quick professional resume development (Lethbridge only)
• Career planning workshop

(Lethbridge only-need referral)

This program offers pre-employment training to those individuals who have a history of financial dependence on Income Support, and to those who have obtained a program referral from Alberta Human Services.

Training is offered for up to 6 months and includes:

• Comprehensive employability assessment
• Health and self-improvement
• Financial management
• Connections to community resources
• Work experience
• Job placement/referrals to training agencies
